Zusammenfassung:	A system for locking two threaded tubulars together comprises a set screw 210 passing through one tubular 110 to press a knurl patterned surface 230 of an insert 220 against knurl patterned outer surface 240 of the second tubular 120. Pushing the knurled surface 230 of the insert 220 engages the other knurled surface 240 to prevent unscrewing of the two tubulars 110, 120 by relative rotation of the pin and box. The insert 220 is positioned within a recess 250 on the inner circumference of tubular 110. The set screw 210 passes radially through the tubular 110 within a threaded bore 215 to engage and push the insert 220. Cord stock 280 such as an O-ring centralises the insert 220 in its recess 250. An alternative embodiment (fig 4A) positions the set screw to engage the tubulars axially.
