Zusammenfassung: | A vehicle 100 includes a communication module for a wireless local area network including an internal antenna 108 and an external antenna 112. The vehicle also includes an antenna adjuster to communicatively couple, in response to determining a mobile device 104 is inside a vehicle cabin, the internal antenna to the mobile device and to communicatively couple, in response to determining the mobile device is outside of the vehicle cabin, the external antenna to the mobile device. A beacon may be transmitted to the mobile device to prompt the mobile device to send a return signal. GPS may be used to determine the location of the vehicle and this may be compared with a location of the mobile device in order to ascertain whether the mobile device is within the vehicle cabin. Beamforming may be used to form a directional signal from a plurality of external antennas of the vehicle. |
