| Zusammenfassung: | An electronic device 200 has a connector 106 for connecting an accessory device 101. The connector may be a USB connector. Two digital data paths 201, 202 connect the applications processor 110 of the device with the connector. The first 201 is a general purpose data path. The second 202 is an audio data path. The audio data path may be integrated into coder/decoder circuitry 213 in the device. The codec may also be connected to an audio transducer 127a, 127b and may send analogue signals to the connector. When the device detects the connection of an accessory, it may detect whether it is an audio accessory and select the first or second path accordingly. |
