Bottom wiper

A foldable personal hygiene wiper comprising a wiper head 10 having a paper contact surface 11 extending from a base 12, and a handle 20 extending from the head 10. Preferably the paper contact surface 11 has a recess 13 into which toilet paper can be tucked. In use toilet paper is placed over the contact surface and secured by tucking part of the paper into the recess; the soiled paper being removed by facing the head generally downwards and allowing the papers to fall off under gravity. Preferably the handle 20 is hinged to the head 10, and the handle 20 is formed from two hinged sub-sections 30,40, allowing the wiper to fold into a storage position (fig 1a/2a) where the sub-sections fold around the head, and unfold into a used position where the head and handle subsections are unfolded and form a z-shaped configuration. The wiper preferably has at least one releasable catch to hold the wiper in the folded and unfolded positions, and are preferably forms part of the hinge. The paper contact surface is preferably formed of a friction material e.g. thermoplastic elastomer, and the recess includes a pair of inwardly directed opposing projections.
