Zusammenfassung:	A system and method of analyzing the risk of operating a drone comprises a mobile device which determines a location of a user by accessing a location tracking system, such as GPS. The location is transmitted to a server to obtain geospatial data and temporal data for a surrounding area of the location. A risk of operating a drone for a duration of time in a given coverage area within the surrounding area using at least the geospatial data and temporal data in calculated and a quote for an insurance policy is generated. The purchase of the insurance policy is facilitated and a timer is generated indicating the remaining the policy is active for. The mobile device may monitor its location and generate a warning in the event of determining that the location is outside the given coverage area.
