Zusammenfassung: | A wireless charging station (100, Fig. 1) comprising a power supply (110, Fig. 1) having an adjustable power output and a wireless transceiver (106, Fig. 1) configured to periodically advertise a plurality of power values available at the power supply and receive a request for power at one of the advertised power values. The wireless charging station may comprise a memory (118, Fig. 1) for storing the plurality of power values and a processor (116, Fig. 1) for adjusting attributes of the power supply to produce the power value requested by the device (104, Fig. 1). The wireless transceiver may be a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transceiver. The plurality of power values may include discrete values or a range of values. The plurality of power values may include at least one voltage or amperage value. In another aspect of the invention, the aforementioned wireless charging station is positioned in a vehicle cabin wherein the charging station is a substantially flat pad positioned in a centre console. |
