Support device for supporting a first article on a second article

A support device 10 for supporting a first article in a second article, comprising a central support 12, a plurality of outer supports 14, and a plurality of arms 16 which connect the central 12 and outer supports 14. The arms 16 are flexible to allow the outer supports 14 to be moved relative to the central support 12 between an outward and an inward position. The arms 16 may be curved, resilient and comprise crenellations and may be formed integral to the central support 12 or may be separately fastened. Another embodiment disclosed comprises a support device with a central support 12, plurality of outer supports 14, a plurality of arms 16, at least some of the outer supports 14 having a respective securing formation 18 through which a securing arrangement can extend to secure the support device to the second article. Another embodiment discloses a plant pot comprising a base, a wall defining an internal recess and a plurality of supports. The supports have a respective securing formation through which a securing arrangement can extend to secure the support device to a second article. Corresponding methods are provided for each embodiment.
