Zusammenfassung:	A method of manufacturing a table 6 for a vehicle comprising taking two portions 2, 3, into each of which are machined a plurality of recesses 5. The portions are then attached together, preferably by glue and/or dowels, forming a single whole table, with a plurality of internal cavities. The table 6 is preferably a drop-down table that drops down from the back of a front seat 10 of the motor vehicle Preferably the table 6 is formed with a large recess 8 which acts as a handle. The table is preferably formed of wood, such as walnut, oak or cherry. The two portions 2, 3, may be formed by taking a single piece (Figure 1, 1) of material and splitting it in two.
