Medical analysis and communication system and method

In the event that a call to an emergency services dispatch center (call center) is initiated by a mobile phone, the phone is programmed to automatically record video using a camera and establish a data link with a server, over which identification data and a stream of captured images are transmitted. The server stores the video in association with the identification (ID) data, such that an operator at the emergency services dispatch center may provide the server with the ID data in order to access video stored in association with the ID data. The identification data may comprise the current location of the mobile phone or user information such as an email address. The location of the mobile phone may be automatically communicated by SMS text message when a call is made. The video stream may use an adaptive streaming protocol. The mobile phone may comprise an accelerometer for measuring vital signs such as heart rate and breathing rate. A software application (app) may be used by the mobile phone for operating accordingly.
