Zusammenfassung: | An apparatus for generating a hydrogen-containing liquid, the apparatus comprising a water-reacting hydrogen generating agent (reacting agent) 11, a capsule 20 filled up with the reacting agent that discharges hydrogen gas and a tightly-closed container 31 filled up with a liquid whereby hydrogen generated from the capsule is added to the liquid. The ratio of the capsule volume (in ml) to the reacting agent weight (in g) is below 11.4. The liquid may be water but also a beverage such as tea and coffee. The container 31 may be a 300 ml-530 ml polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle. The hydrogen generating agent includes materials that react with water to produce molecular hydrogen (H2 gas) such as calcium, magnesium, calcium hydride, magnesium hydride and aluminium. The reacting agent may be put into a bag body 12 that is permeable to water. The reacting agent 10 may be put into the capsule body 22 and a valve cap may be 23 fitted on the capsule. A one-way duckbill valve 21 may be provided. The capsule may then be put into the container which is closed with cap 32 and may be shaken. Capsule projections 24 may provide a deformation-preventing structure given that the hydrogen-producing reaction is highly exothermic. The dissolved molecular hydrogen concentration in the liquid may exceed 10 ppm, 24 hours after the reaction. |
