Zusammenfassung: | A cable stripping tool for use with electrical cables that include an inner core and an outer sheath comprises a body 152 including a cable channel 154. First and second cutting blades 162 are movable transversely between a retracted position and a cutting position. The blade edges of the first and second cutting blades are axially spaced from each other relative to the channel and are also arranged such that in the cutting position the first and second blades are spaced different distances from the rotational axis 164 of the channel. The cable stripping tool rotates about the rotational axis when the cutting blades are in the cutting position to cause the blades to cut around the entire circumference of the cable, for example for one to cut an outer sheath layer (131, Fig 10) and one to cut an inner sheath layer (133, Fig 10). A stop member may position the cable longitudinally. The cable may be used with a stepped collar (Fig 11) at a meter inlet to prevent unauthorized access to the electricity. |
