Zusammenfassung: | A plurality of voltage regulators 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D in a computer node 10 each have a controller, volatile and non-volatile memory. Each controller temporarily caches in its volatile memory operating data for its voltage regulator over a sliding time period. When a voltage regulator experiences a fault, the controller of each regulator receives notice of the fault, in response to which each controller copies its cached operating data from its volatile memory to its non-volatile memory. This may include data collected immediately prior to the fault. The regulators may each have an open drain output all coupled together by a common signal line 40. Each controller may monitor the line and receive notice of the fault in response to a change in voltage on the line. The controllers may send the operating data stored in non-volatile memory to a management entity 14 within the node. A method and system are provided. |
