Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle braking system with frictional and regenerative braking inhibits regenerative braking and actuates frictional braking when predetermined conditions 104 are met to carry out a brake command and to bed-in frictional brake pad linings. Predetermined conditions include a factory or service personnel initiating bedding-in via a user interface (24, fig 2); manual deactivation of bedding-in; number of ignition cycles or brake actuations; distance driven; terrain type covered; vehicle operating mode; or calculation of frictional work performed.
