Zusammenfassung:	Equipment affording sleeping accommodation comprising a frame (1) and a bed base (2, 3) is provided. The bed base is pivotally connected to the frame (1) by hinges. A tent (9) is connected to the frame (1) and to the bed base (2, 3). Means (4, 5) for positioning the frame (1) within the rear of a vehicle (20) are provided. The vehicle has an opening rear door. The equipment requires no support from the ground and requires no alterations to the body of the vehicle. The bed base may comprise two portions connected to one another by hinges. The equipment may be mounted in the rear of the vehicle using jamming devices fitted between the frame and the structure of the vehicle.
