Zusammenfassung:	A seasoning grinder has a LED light source 3 attached to heat sink 7 for illuminating the surroundings, and includes a receptacle 13 for holding a seasoning material to be ground. A grinding mechanism 15 has a grinding wheel 41 for grinding the seasoning material, and an outlet 17 is provided for dispensing ground seasoning material. The grinder may be motorised. Batteries 11 that are rechargeable via a docking station (Fig. 16) may be provided. The grinder may receive a salt shaker (Fig. 18).
