One or more hooks 4 may also be attached to the net or blanket to increase the probability of the net becoming tangled in the rotating elements of a vehicle. The flexible elements are able to penetrate through shrouds 20 that may surround a rotating element such as a propeller 30. The vehicle may be a quadcopter having shrouded rotors or the vehicle may include an outboard motor with a shrouded propeller.
