Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus for reducing hydrocarbon emissions from vehicle fuel tanks is provided. The apparatus comprises: a first chamber 102, 202 for accommodating an adsorbent; a second chamber 103, 203 for accommodating an adsorbent; and an inlet 104, 204 which allows vapour from a fuel tank to be introduced into the first chamber 102, 202. A distributor 106, 206 distributes vapour from the fuel tank generally uniformly over a major portion of the surface of the adsorbent in the first chamber 102, 202 when the apparatus is in use and the first chamber 102, 202 and the second chamber 103, 203 contain adsorbent, and the inlet 104, 204 is connected to a fuel tank. The second chamber 103, 203 may reside within the first chamber 102, 202, and may be offset from the centre of the first chamber 102, 202.
