Zusammenfassung:A base station 150, for separating a fluidic sample by liquid chromatography in cooperation with a liquid chromatography analysis unit 100 configured for executing a predefined liquid chromatography analysis task, comprises an analysis unit coupling section 182 configured forremovably coupling the liquid chromatography analysis unit to the base station. It also includes an analysis task identification unit 184 configured for identifying the predefined liquid chromatography analysis task of the liquid chromatography analysis unit coupled to the analysis unit coupling section, so that the fluidic sample is separable by executing the identified predefined liquidchromatography analysis task in cooperation between the base station and the liquid chromatography analysis unit. Preferably, the analysis coupling section comprises an accommodation slot in which at least part of the liquid chromatography analysis unit can be accommodated. The analysis task identifier may be a barcode reader or an RFID tag reader. The base station may comprise at least a part of a detector for detecting the separated fluidic sample. Preferably, the base unit includes a solvent and sample drive force unit 114, and a user authorization section 198.
