Zusammenfassung:This application relates to a receiver circuit for a near-field communication (NFC) tag or an RFID tag. The receiver circuit connects a receiving antenna 208/210 with an NFC or RFID circuit 206. The receiver circuit not only provides rectification but also protects the NFC / RFID circuit from strong electromagnetic fields, as would be encountered during wireless charging of a co-located battery. The receiver circuit includes a first rectifier 216/218 and a second rectifier 224/226, which each receive a signal from the antenna. The drain and source of a depletion mode NMOS transistor switch are connected to the first rectifier and the NFC / RFID circuit respectively. A gate of the transistor switch receives a voltage based on an output of the second rectifier, such that the transistor switch is opened when a level of the signal from the antenna exceeds a predetermined level.
