Zusammenfassung:	A shelf 2 with vertical bracket 3 and horizontal bracket 6, to be attached via existing screw holes 8, 10, in the rear of a flat screen television. The horizontal brace has holes 7 and an elongated cut out strip 9 to receive screws to attach the brace to a television. The horizontal brace also has a set of four holes 4 which align with holes 5 in the vertical support bracket to allow the two brackets to be attached to each other. The brackets allow the shelf to be mounted either above a television or below a television, and either on a free-standing television or one that is mounted onto a wall. The shelf is designed to hold items such as a games console 1 or a DVR device. The console wires 11 can be hidden behind the television. There may be a single vertical bracket, or two vertical brackets. The horizontal brace has a plurality of holes to allow the brace to be attached to a range of televisions of differing sizes.
