Zusammenfassung:A dialysis blood access method comprises using a patients skin as an electrical insulator such that an electrical contact is not made when access to a patients blood vessel exists. An electrical contact is made when access to the patients blood vessel is compromised due to a movement of a conductive needle previously inserted into the blood vessel such that the patients skin no longer electrically insulates the needle from a separate conductor.
