Removable floor jack saddle

A jack 100 comprising: a removable and interchangeable engagement member such as saddle 125; a frame 105; a jacking mechanism including a handle 110; and a saddle base 115 having a retention member 130. The saddle 125 can be removavbly coupled to the base 115 via an indent 145 on the saddle 125 configured to engage the retention member 130. The detent retention mechanism may be one of a ball and spring (figure 3), a pin designed to engage an indent (figure 4) or a pin biased by a spring designed to engage an indent (figure 5). There may be multiple saddles 125 each designed to support a specific load (figures 6 to 11).
