Zusammenfassung: | A chainsaw has a motor, a drive sprocket and optionally a nose sprocket 53 on the end of a guide bar 9. One of the sprockets has a blocking contour 55 in some recesses 71 to prevent some of the chains drive teeth 45 projecting into it but not others 47. This means that only certain chains are compatible with certain sprockets. Ideally there is a chain tensioning device, the all recesses 70, 71 preferably span equal angles 150, 151 of the sprocket. The short and long teeth could be alternating as could the blocking contours. The chain links without the long drive teeth preferably still have projections to engage the guide bar. There are optionally no projections on some links and the blocking contour could entirely obscure the recess matching it. |
