Zusammenfassung: | A light source 100 comprising a substrate 110; a die 120; a liquid encapsulant 130; an attachment member 150; and a resilient cover 140, configured to hold the liquid encapsulant 130, wherein at least a portion of the resilient cover 140 is easily stretchable so as to absorb size increment of the liquid encapsulant 130 due to thermal expansion. Also disclosed is a light-emitting device substantially similar to the light source 100 above, wherein the resilient cover comprises a dome shaped portion and a substantially flat portion, wherein the attachment member is configured to secure the substantially flat portion to the substrate. Further disclosed is a lighting apparatus substantially similar to the light source 100 above. and a thermal joint portion. In another embodiment, a lighting apparatus (200) having similar resilient cover is disclosed. The substrate may comprise an aperture 112 for providing access to the liquid encapsulant 130 and a seal 114 covering the aperture 112. The liquid encapsulant 130 may be silicone oil. |
