Zusammenfassung:A protective garment comprises a jacket (10) and a ballistic collar (30). The ballistic collar (30) is movable between a deployed position at a neck of a wearer (1) of the jacket and a stowed position away from the neck. The ballistic collar (30) is tethered to the jacket (10) by a tether portion (40) that remains connected to both the ballistic collar (30) and the jacket (10) whilst moving the ballistic collar (30) from the deployed position to the stowed position. The ballistic collar (30) may be stowed in a pouch (20) when in the stowed position.
