Zusammenfassung: | An audio coupling apparatus comprises a jack plug 3 attached to a cable 6 and a socket 2 for receiving the jack plug. The apparatus has a channel 5 for receiving at least part of the jack plug, the channel having opposite first and second ends with the socket disposed at the first end and the second end 10 disposed at the periphery of the apparatus. The socket is rotatable between a first, open, position (see Fig 3) facilitating the removal of the jack from, and the insertion of the jack into, the socket, and a second, stowed, position. The apparatus is so configured to allow for the jack plug, when inserted into the socket, with the socket in the second position, to lie flush in the channel. The plug may have an elbow 4 which goes in a bend 7 in the channel, and the channel may have a clip 8 which holds the plug in place, the plug having a recess 9. The arrangement may be used in headphones with a removable cushion (211, Fig 6). |
