Zusammenfassung:	A thermal control apparatus 520 for a liquid heating appliance comprises an actuator mount 593 for mounting at least one bimetallic actuator 592, wherein each bimetallic actuator 592 is controllably secured to the actuator mount 593 by at least one securing 5 means 888, and at least one dampening mechanism 422 is provided between the bimetallic actuator 592 and the securing means 888 to dampen and/or absorb energy, vibration and/or oscillation dissipated by the at least one bimetallic actuator 592. The dampening means may comprises a resilient element such as an o-ring, a coil spring, a leaf spring, an axial spring gasket, and a washer, for example. Also disclosed are a cordless electrical connection system comprising centralising and/or aligning means and A cordless electrical system provided with draining means.
