Zusammenfassung: | The joist hanger 10 comprises a seat 50, at least one side flange 30, 40 extending along a first plane and a back flange 60, 70 extending along a second plane. The first and second planes are configurable out of their respective planes to form at least one top flange. The side flange may include an interruption, frangible region or cut 20 which defines the height of bending for the top flange. The interruption, frangible region or cut could be a notch, perforated or weakened line or slit. There may be a number of the interruptions, or similar. Also claimed is a connection of a structural member to a supporting member comprising a joist hanger for supporting a structural member having a height equal to or less than the height than the height of the hanger in a manufactured state. Also claimed is a joist hanger comprising: a seat; a side flange extending in a first plane; and a back flange extending in a second plane. Portions of the flanges are configurable outside of their respective planes to adjust the height of either of the side flange in the first plane or the back flange in the second plane. |
