Printing device with cutting mechanismA printing device 300 comprises: a printing mechanism; a receiving portion for receiving a supply of image receiving medium; a cutting mechanism for cutting the image receiving medium and a drive mechanism for driving the cutting mechanism during a cutting operation; wherein the cutting mechanism comprises a blade holder 320 removably attachable in the printing device 300; the drive mechanism comprises at least one of a drive member (398, fig 7) or engaging portion that engages with a respective other of at least one drive member or engaging portion (350, fig 6) of the blade holder 320; the drive member and engaging portion are configured to permit the blade holder 320 to be inserted in the printing device 300 when said blade holder 320 is moved in a direction of insertion, and to permit removal when the blade holder 320 is moved in a direction of removal. Preferably the drive mechanism includes a gear train (390, fig 8), and the blade holder includes a movable blade (344, fig 6) and a fixed blade (342, fig 5).
