Body adhering absorbent article with at least one detachment component

A feminine care absorbent article 1200 comprises an absorbent structure that is configured for disposition adjacent a female wearer's vaginal region to absorb bodily fluids discharged by the wearer. A shell supports the absorbent structure at the vaginal region and has an adhesive on a body-facing surface thereof for adhering the shell directly to the wearer. At least one detachment component 1220 is disposed on the article 1200 to facilitate detaching the article 1200 from the wearer. The detachment component 1220 has a body facing surface that is free from adhesive. The detachment component 1220 may be loop shaped or may comprise a finger tab. Other feminine care absorbent articles are also disclosed; including one embodiment where the article can be folded and unfolded whilst still adhered to the wearer and the anterior and posterior portions can be secured together by securing components. Other absorbent articles comprise garment securing means or placement aids, where the placement aids comprise a visual cue or tactile sensation, or comprise a finger strip.
