Visualisation of security settings

Setting of security levels for objects by storing of access rights identifiers, object identifiers and user identifiers, displaying an object symbol(s), an access right symbol(s), and a user symbol(s) in a graphical user interface of a computer. Selection of an object symbol, a user symbol and movement of the user symbol in an environment of the access rights symbol, may change a security setting for the object. The graphical user interface may be controlled using a pointing device, a touch screen, gesture or voice recognition. The access rights may relate to time periods, process steps ina workflow, project status or to an access location, and selection of an object access rights user combination may be dissolved by using a delete symbol.
