Zusammenfassung:Simulation software 180 such as PETREL (RTM) has domain objects 182 which comprises entity objects (geometrical representations of wells, surfaces, reservoirs, geobodies, etc.) and property objects (log, version, and display information, e.g. to display the well within a model). The simulation software is related to management components 110 managing aspects of geologic environment 150 and operates within framework environment 170, such as OCEAN (RTM) based on .NET (RTM). A method is provided where user interaction information related to domain objects is stored and analyzed, and feedback given to a user. The method is used for support and training (where user actions can be recorder as screenshots or movies), for adapting host software to user habits, for testing software usability. Also described are limitations of prior art where not all interactions are tracked, or they are tracked in a non re-usable proprietary format, as when using non-native tracking software.
