Natural stump removal matting

Natural stump removal sheet comprises a multi-layered aqua mat/capillary matting with a thick black plastic top layer which is positioned on top of a tree stump. The matting absorbs and retains water which provides a high moisture content around the stump which increases natural wood decay. The black plastic top layer seals in, retains and reduces moisture loss and also reduces light getting to the stump, which speeds up the natural decaying process. This layer also weakens any side shoots which may regrow from the stump. The product provides a natural habitat and food source for fungi and animals.
