Zusammenfassung: | A terminal wire block 10, 150, 200 comprises a spring clamp 14, 152, 202 and a screw clamp 16, 156, 204 to hold an electrical wire 12 in a fixed position using one or both clamps. In some embodiments, the spring clamp and the screw clamp may be operated independently of each other. The spring clamp includes a cage 24, 158, 216 and a biasing element 154, 210 to push the wire against an inner wall of the cage. The screw clamp includes an externally threaded fastener 50, 159, 232 which, in some embodiments, secures the wire in the fixed position in response to tightening of the fastener. In other embodiments, the terminal wire block comprises a housing 206 with a first opening 164, 218 to receive the wire and the cage of the spring clamp has a second opening 180, 214. The fastener is operatively connected to the biasing element so that the first and second openings become aligned in response to pressure applied to the fastener enabling the wire to be received through the openings. |
