Wirelessly Controlling Medical Devices

A portable user interface for controlling medical devices 108 comprises a housing; wireless communications module 110; and display 104 with graphical user interface (GUI) 106 to remotely control a device, the GUI corresponding to a control interface of a medical device. The GUI may emulate controls of the device. The display may have a plurality of user-selectable elements for controlling and/or changing settings of the device; or may control a plurality of wireless devices with a different GUI for other devices. The device may be a tablet with a touch-screen display, and inputs separate from the display. The GUI may display updated data for the medical device; monitoring data for the medical device; location information. The portable user interface may generate a log session corresponding to changes made to the device settings.
