Zusammenfassung: | A fabric electrode module comprises a first fabric layer 1 containing electrically conductive elements and a second fabric layer 2 made from non-stretchable natural or man-made yarn material whereby the first and second layers are permanently joined by means of fabric bonding techniques. The first layer may be of a woven, knitted, braided or embroidered nature or may be printed on one side with electrically conductive ink. The second layer may be made from a woven or non-woven fabric material. The end portion of an electrical signal transmission line 4 may be placed between the first and second layers before permanently joining said layers. The electrode may be used to detect electrical signals on the surface of a users skin for the purpose of stress level detection, heart rate recording or monitoring processes after surgery or during an illness. Also disclosed is an article of clothing (8, figure 5), a belt, a strap and a harness (9, figure 6) having said fabric electrode (7) permanently attached using a technique such as hot or cold adhesive bonding, laser welding or sewing. |
