Zusammenfassung: | A roof 201 with a wind turbine 202 positioned above the apex 200 so that air flows through the gap 204 between the apex and the turbine. A flow optimiser 203 diverts a section of airflow close to the apex 200 into the region 205 downstream of the apex. The flow optimiser reduces the boundary layer separation and turbulence downstream of the apex 200 to increase the output of the turbine. The flow optimiser may be made up of multiple parallel curved sections aligned perpendicularly to the flow and may include slotted leading edges. Preferably the position and angle of each section of the flow optimiser may be adjusted by a control system in response to changes in airflow speed and direction, temperature, humidity, vibration and pressure. |
