Zusammenfassung:Apparatus for steering a drill string in a wellbore comprises a steering device (70) having at least one pad configured to apply a force to a wall of a wellbore, a force measurement sensor (200) configured to measure a reaction force (210) associated with the force applied by the at least one pad, a directional sensor configured to determine at least one survey parameter at a location in the wellbore and a processor configured to correct the at least one survey parameter for a distortion of the drill string (22) using the at least one measured reaction force to steer the drill string.
