Self Adjustable Strap Assembly

A bag having automatically adjustable carrying strap system; the system comprising a connector plate 104 with front 128 and rear 130 surfaces; a first bridge portion 132; a second bridge portion 134; the first and second bridge portions define first 144 and second 146 channels. The first and second channels may define a first pathway for receiving first carrying strap (110, Fig 2) which may be aligned along a longitudinal axis. The bridge portions may be parallel. The connector may be placed on a golf bag or other carrying apparatus. The carrying straps may overlap each other along the plate, and may move relative to each other without manual intervention. The second carrying strap (112, Fig 2) may turn within the transverse space defined between raised portions. The straps may comprise a shoulder pad (116, 114, Figure 2).
