Zusammenfassung:	A system for monitoring the health of a hospital patient comprises a score engine 14 configured to identify the status of a patient's health using one or more measurements relating to the patient (e.g. physiological measurements: pulse, temperature, blood pressure, respiration rate etc.) and a list manager 12 configured to identify a medical practitioner associated with the patient. The system is configured to send a message to the medical practitioner in dependence on the identified status of the patient's health. The measuring device may be a mobile computing device. The score engine may calculate a score indicating the status of the patientâ s heath using a risk algorithm which uses at least one of the one or more measurements.
