Zusammenfassung: | A method of forming a polycrystalline diamond material is disclosed which comprises mixing a mass of diamond particles or grains and a binder material comprising a non-metallic catalyst material for diamond to form a green body, the non-metallic catalyst material for diamond being a metal oxoanion, the oxoanion being selected from the group comprising molybdates, tungstates, vanadates or in another method the catalyst may be a phosphate. The green body is subjected to a temperature and pressure at which diamond is thermodynamically- stable, sintering and forming inter-granular bonded polycrystalline diamond material. The catalyst may be sodium molybdate. |
