Zusammenfassung: | A peep hole or security window comprising a toughed glass see through window "E" which is fitted within the door, a cover formed from two parts "A" "B" connected together by a hinge "C" is secured to the inside of the door. An escutcheon "F" is fitted to the outside of the door to improve the overall appearance. In use the elderly, infirm or older person inside the house will lift the lower portion of the flap "B" and observe the person through the toughened window "E". They can also communicate with the person through the security window and/or observe identification or credentials. The security window could be fitted in doors at the time of manufacture or retrofitted at a later time. The cover portion could also be used with existing spy holes. |
