The inner and outer portions may be made from extruded aluminium or plastics materials such as polyvinylchloride (PVC) or glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). The connecting component may be made from nylon or PVC. The panels may comprise walls, floors or roofs. The inner and outer portions may define channels 19, 20 for receiving the edges of the panels. The accommodation unit may be, for example, a static caravan, a motorised caravan or a motor home.
