Zusammenfassung: | A knitted compression sleeve 2 for compressing a body part of a user, comprising at least two electrodes 6, 8 located on an internal side of the sleeve, conductive pathways 10 integrally formed with the sleeve 2, a conductive pathway being in electrical connection with each electrode. The electrodes are positioned such that, in use, they are able to stimulate a muscle, or are able to detect electrical activity within a muscle. The electrodes 6, 8 may be integral or may be formed with a pocket (14, see figure 3) into which is inserted a compressible element (16, fig. 3). Apertures (18, fig. 3) may also be provided to apply conductive gel. On the exterior of the bandage, indicators 12 may show the position of each electrode. The knitted sleeve may be planar and secured into a tube around the person's body part, or may be tubular with openings 5. |
