Zusammenfassung:Modular shoe storage apparatus (10) comprises at least two opposite side wall members (12), a rear wall member (14) for interconnecting the side wall members (12), and at least one shelf member (16) for interconnecting the side wall members (12). A plurality of first keyway channels (30) is integrally formed as one-piece with the side wall members (12) or the shelf member (16), and a plurality of first keys is slidably engagable with the first key way channels (30) only via the ends and are integrally formed as one-piece with the other of the side wall members (12) and the shelf member (16). A plurality of second keyway channnels (40) is integrally formed as one-piece with the side wall members (12) or the rear wall members (14), and a plurality of second keys (56) is slidably engagable with the second keyway channels (40) only via the ends and are integrally formed as one-piece with the other of the side wall members (12) and the rear wall member (14). Preferably at least one first keyway channel (30) or key (56, 64) is interrupted by an aperture (18) through the respective side wall member (12). Further preferably the shelf member (16) is formed of light transmissible material so that items stored there below can be more easily discerned.
