Zusammenfassung:	Serial distillation process for production of lean liquid hydrate inhibitor composition from a rich liquid hydrate inhibitor composition comprising a) feeding the rich liquid hydrate inhibitor composition to first distillation vessel1; b) withdrawing water and inhibitor containing vapour and feeding it to second distillation vessel4; c) withdrawing water vapour from second distillation vessel4; d) withdrawing liquid lean hydrate inhibitor from second distillation vessel4; e) withdrawing liquid lean hydrate inhibitor from first distillation vessel1; and f) withdrawing liquid from first distillation vessel1and removing solids. The liquid hydrate inhibitor boiling point is above 100 celcius. Steps e) and f) may be of a single liquid stream. The liquid hydrate inhibitor is preferably a monoethylene glycol. Further specified is apparatus comprising serially connected first and second distillation vessels1, 4. The first vessel has a conduit10for removal of liquid and a solids removal unit8. The second vessel has conduits 16, 17 for removal of liquid and water vapour.
