Zusammenfassung:An extrusion 10 for a window assembly comprises an elongate member 11 of rectangular cross-section, with formations 12, 13, 14 on its outer surface 15 that are engageable with co-operating formations 16 on detachable beading 17, which can be placed at either or both ends 18, 19 of the outer surface 15 of the elongate member 11. The window assembly may be internally glazeable, comprise a framework of extrusions 10, and incorporate an outwardly opening sash, with the beading 17 attached to the elongate member 11 providing a rebate to the inside of the window to accommodate the outwardly opening sash and a rebate on the outside of the window to accommodate a fixed glazing unit.
