Paint metering cylinder with plural rinsing outlets

A paint-metering cylinder for supplying a paint discharge nozzle with a paint material for painting plants includes at least one rinsing device having at least two rinsing agent outlet openings. A painting plant 1 includes a metering cylinder 2 comprising three access openings 17, 18 and 19 leading to cavity 3. Tangential inlet opening 18 and tangential outlet opening 19 are arranged as a rinsing agent supply opening 18 and as a rinsing outlet opening 19. Rinsing agent may also be discharged via central axial opening 17, outlet channel 11, paint line 12, shuttle valve 13 and discharge line 26. A method for rinsing a paint-metering cylinder comprises supplying a first rinsing agent the exits through a first rinsing agent outlet and supplying a second rinsing agent that exits through a second rising outlet of the paint-metering cylinder. Also disclosed is a paint-metering cylinder comprising a removably attachable head closure and at least one quick-lock closure device structured and arranged to attach the head closure.
