Fire and smoke damper

A fire and smoke damper comprises a duct 11 or equivalent part and inside it a closing damper 12, which can be turned in a fire situation from an open position to a position closing the duct under the effect of a spring's 17 spring force. The fire and smoke damper comprises pieces of equipment 100 for a thermal fuse 19, whereby with the aid of the thermal fuse 19 the closing damper 12 can be set against the spring's 17 spring force in an open position in the duct. The thermal fuse 19 will be located in between the closing damper 12 and the duct 11 or other equivalent body structure, and whereby in a fire situation the thermal fuse's 19 dimensions will change so that the closing damper 12 is released to turn into a position closing the duct 11 with the aid of the spring's 17 spring force. The relative position of the spring's setting or tightening point D and of the fuse can be changed from the same side of the fire and smoke damper's 10 transverse axis (Y) to sides which are opposite to each other. Threaded bushings are provided at different positions so that the thermal fuse can be fitted in the different positions.
