Zusammenfassung:	A method of connecting one end of a tubular heater to a pipe (1) is disclosed. The pipe (1) comprises an inner layer of a thermoplastic material and the heater comprises a tubular body (2) made of an electrically and thermically conducting material. The heater is covered with an external layer (7) of a thermoplastic material weldable on the inner layer of the pipe (1). The heater is connected to the pipe (1) by inserting one end of said heater in one end of the pipe (1) and exposing said end of the heater to a magnetic field in order to concentrate in an annular electrically conductive zone (3) an induced current adapted for locally heating the inner layer of the pipe (1) and the external layer (7) of the heater to weld these to each other.
